Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Buttonwillow

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nothing.
Filthy and stained.

Each day when I returned to the room there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The plumbing under the sink was corroded and disgusting. The light in the bathroom would come on in the middle of the night and wake me. The carpet was stained with who knows what. It was very cold there and housekeeping would turn off the heat so the room was cold when I returned. I think you get the idea. ...read more

Room was dismal.

They charged and additional $ 6.00 reservation fee and when I complained they would not remove charge. I called my husband and decided to drive home to long beach. I returned my key and they said they would remove the reservation fee but I had already decided to go home. I asked they to credit my credit card for the room but do not know if they did probably not.

The location was OK.
The staff was unfriendly, the pool was filthy and our room was filled with flies.

Upon arrival the girl at the front desk was very unfriendly, I asked her how much it was to upgrade to a suite and she just charged me for the up-grade but that was not what I wanted and when I told her that I did not want the upgrade she argued with me. When my wife and I entered the room, there were a lot of house flies inside. The pool was filthy. I will never stay at that motel again. ...read more

Cheap.
Dirty, rooms not ready.

We checked in and our room was not ready at all!! The sheets and bedding was piled up on one of the beds and on the floor. When i asked for a different room the nice lady behind the counter said she forgot to read the note that it was not ready.... The AC worked very poorly and it wasn't even that hot. The free breakfast was mini donuts and mini muffins from a box and thats it.

Very convenient location, great price, and friendly people
Needs a little updating.

Nothing fancy, but a nice room at a very good price. Friendly people, nice parking, a very good value.

Old broken accommodations, no continental breakfast - poor overall!

Poor room, damaged switches and water valves, broken furniture, bed was worn out and uncomfortable. There was no continental breakfast.

How many flys in the room and how dirty the floor was, sticky headboard.

This hotel was nice if you want a plain Jane Hotel. However, if you have children and care about cleanliness this is not the room for you. The headboard is super sticky with who knows what and your feet turn black when you walk on the ground.
