Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge New Stanton

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was friendly and knowledgable.
This Econolodge stated they had a microwave and fridge. However the microwave was only found in the lobby area. The fridge was in the room.

This motel is definitely worth staying at. There are other motels in the area, but had little curb appeal. This place is nice on both sides.

Helpful staff. Rooms are what I expected for the price.

Hotel easily acceptable from turnpike. Was a good price, clean rooms and helpful staff. There was a bar in the hotel but it was closed the night we spent the night. Breakfast was good with Belgium waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, coffee and juice. Nice breakfast area.

There was a continental breakfast, and the the cockroach was dead.
There was a dead cockroach behind the glass of one of the wall pictures..that pretty much cancels anything positive about it.

Its a budget motel, but below average even for a budget motel. First look seemed to be more of a bar than anything with multiple neon beer signs in the front window of the hotel. Staff was friendly, but it stops there. The air conditioner has dirt and rust buildup in the vents. The microwave was nasty and not cleaned, the corners of the room were dirty, and there was a dead cockroach behind the glass of one of the wall pictures. Room 219, I even took photos. The area looks to be a major truck stop. Lots of truckers parked at all the motels. Almost an industrial area. Pretty run down. ...read more

The motel had a clean and comfortable bed in a clean and comfortable room. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was close to restaurants and the turnpike.
There was nothing I didn't like about the room.

It was a great room at a great price. I was very satisfied with the room and staff.

Location, this hotel was easy to find, right off the exit.
Rooms were kind of dark, even with all the room lights on.

The only good thing I can say is the person checking us in was friendly.
The rooms were disgusting, like theyhaven't been cleaned in forever. Sheets had holes in them, hairddryer didn't work, there was coffee still in the coffee maker in my room with about 3" of mold in it...just absolutely disgusting...iwas afraid to lay in t

disgusting, dirty, gross, unhealthy

The location was surprisingly quiet given the hotel's close proximity to major highways.
The rooms were simply not clean. There was mold in the shower and old rags and coffee left from previous guests.

We booked these rooms and we definitely got what we paid for. These were the cheapest rooms in the area and that's exactly what we got. Spend a few more bucks and get a better room elsewhere instead of this dirty hotel.

The location is convenient, safe.
Over priced.

It is a motel. Next time, if I can't get a good hotel, I will get a good motel, but not a motel-priced-as-hotel.

The room was clean and a continental breakfast was provided.
The room was not attractive and linens were adequate but at the bare minimum. The breakfast area was messy and unattended.

It provided a restful place to sleep which was clean and it had a small breakfast to get you started in the morning. The room was not attractive and the linens were barely adequate. The morning breakfast area was messy and unattended, with no variety or protein available. However, the atmosphere did have friendly workers, who are probably its best asset, as they were warm and welcoming and the motel felt well lit and safe. ...read more

It was clean, quiet and affordable. The hallway carpetts are a bit dirty.
