Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Spartanburg
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 26, 2013

I thought the price was a little high for this particular hotel.

The hotel was easily accessible from the freeway. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Overall a good experience especially for the price.

Considering the shabby condition of the furnishings, the substandard breakfast, and inoperable WiFi. Then I paid an extra $10 to bring our dog (which I do not object to). But, the room was clean, the towels decent, and beds comfortable, so as basic lodging, it was fine. The WiFi, however, is a considerable problem.

If you're looking for a hotel with limited cost, limited amenities, but clean with a friendly staff, this is a good choice. Ten minutes from downtown Spartanburg with an easy drive to downtown.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was super clean and had a wonderful restaurant right across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised about this hotel for the price we paid. We attended a home school convention at the expo center practically right next door. Couldn't have asked for a better location. There were a couple of restaurants and a gas station across the way. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was nice for trying to save money-coffee, OJ, milk, danishes, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit. My only complaint was that the chair in the room had to go being that it appeared to have had some wear. I have to be honest, I was kind of scared when I first booked the hotel due to some of the reviews and it being a budget friendly, but once we got there, I felt at ease. ...
