Econo Lodge & Suites

This hotel while appearing from the outside to be appealing leaves a lot to be desired once inside a room. The room was not clean and the door handle had a sign on it to use it in one direction only. I would not stay there again.

They didn't have the lights on outside (I got there at night), they made me give them my credit card number to place a 50 dollar hold (or else a cash deposit-yikes!) in case I stole towels or something (never had that happen and I'm worried they charged something falsely), they put me in a smoking room (all my clothes smell now), the shower drain was clogged. I stay 4 days. Second day,
when I came back from work I have no towels. Third day, they don't clean my room and also no replace with clean towels. Out side was a lot of noise.

It was old. The rooms were very dirty with empty beer bottles and dead bugs. The bath/shower was unusable - very dirty and clogged so we got no showers. The air conditioning would only stay on for 20 minutes at a time and then we would have to start it again. We were sweating all night. I will never go there again.

The desk attendant could be best described as disinterested. While he didn't argue when we asked for a non-smoking room instead, he seemed a bit annoyed. The room that we got was technically clean but it smelled like a smoking room rather than the non-smoking it was labelled as. The beds were rather uncomfortable. And finally the food offered for breakfast was horrid: hard, stale doughnuts, watery orange juice, and sticky muffins. They did have a waffle-maker and batter, but we didn't have time to try it out. I would never stay here again. Very old , out of date. Bed must of been 20 years old or more. Would of gotten a better night sleep on a sidewalk. The smell of I don't even know was yuck. Half the lights worked, the rest were questionable. I did not feel safe. Service was non-existent. I was told there was wi-fi. Not in my room. I asked to be put into another room where there was wi-fi, I was told no. I know there were available rooms...I looked. NEVER AGAIN....I feel as though I was robbed. Good price for a clean room and pool with a good location for our purpose. We were attending a family member's Funeral and were given a hard time about everything; from check-in time, extra persons, to lack of towels. Not the way to be treated; under the circumstances.

The hotel was nice from the outside. I didn't use the pool or jacuzzi, just needed a place to stay for a night. The room was well worn, AC didn't work real well and was noisy. Shower was dirty, towels and linens were not fresh looking.
