Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Sumter
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 23, 2013

The air conditioner leaked down the door and shorted out the card lock. We had to get maintenance to come with a regular key. Breakfast food was not bad, but there was very little of it. Cook was outside talking to someone and people were coming in and seeing there was no food and going to the front desk to complain. We didn't get much to eat and didn't wait. The little bit
I did get was good 2 pieces of bacon and 2 halves of French toast this was the last on the bar. Nothing else.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sumter, SC.. Unless you are a very picky person that expects 5 star service and unrealistically ZERO negative qualities, this hotel will not disappoint you and will provide you with everything that one would expect from a hotel.

When we checked in we were disappointed that the motel we booked we did not get we got a cheaper motel. The motel was not very clean the phone we hasd inthe rooms was busted not even plugged in . the floors were so dirty that your feet were black after you would wlak across the floor the tv remote would not work. this was terrible and the thing was i guess if we were told in the begining that there was a problem with the motel we booked but instead charges us the rate for econo lodge she only gave us a discount after price line spoke to her . will never stay here again. ...

There was somebody in the first room I was given keys to. There was a non working air conditioner and it was July. There was noise in the parking lot past midnight. Very scary!
