This is a good hotel but definitely not a 5 star hotel as advertised. It is a good 4 at most. (room, service, public areas, facilities are not at the level of 5 stars)

The 4 star rating must be because of location and proximity to the beach rather than the luxury of the rooms or hotel itself. The hotel offers 'suite' rooms which for a longer stay is ideal. The suite was clean and comfortable with a small private screened in balcony overlooking the pool. The living portion of the suite was spacious and the kitchenette had a small microwave and toaster. ...

Family Traveling with Teens
The location for Edgewater is directly on the beach, just steps from the lobby and the rooms. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The terrace restaurant looked very chic and new, although we did not eat at the hotel. We did enjoy an evening sunset at the pool side Tiki bar. Very relaxing. I assume that the hotel is in a transition phase and more rooms will be updated in the coming years. I did not have a chance to explore other areas of the property. I would highly recommend this location to visiting guests that want the best location Naples has to offer. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
The hotel rooms are very nice decorated and spacious. The staff very helpful. We loved the toiletries they smelled so good. Also, the pool was very clean, the beach was so nice and relaxing. We are definitely coming back to this hotel.

Air conditioning under sized, can not dehumidify, room musty smell. Rooms poorly appointed. Hvac in desperate need of renovation.
