Facilities were not maintained or antiquated.
This hotel has an excellent location next to a grocery store and a short walk from many of the excellent restaurants as well as the well known Larco Mart in the Miraflores district. For the price, however, far better accommodation was expected and could be found in other nearby places.

I frequent Peru 3 or 4 times a year. This hotel is more than likely where I'll stay in the future.
