This hotel staff was great, especially the entertainment staff!
It was slow season so a lot of activities are advertised.

The food and drinks are okay. The servers/bartenders don't seem to expect tips, but if you do tip them they will take care of you. The fish that you can see off of the hotels pier are awesome.

Room was a little run down and old, but very clean.

We had a very fun and relaxing vacation at El Cozumeleno. Staff was very friendly and helpful the grounds were clean and well kept. Breakfast and lunch were great with either buffet or fresh made to order options. Dinner was buffet only and edible but not great. The south wing rooms looked great. Overall it was great and I would recommend it to people.

They ran out of beer twice in our 4 days there.

In a not too bad area as Coz doesn't have very nice beaches the hotel has its own small one. You can also snorkel right at this beach.

The a la carte restaurant was not up to par.

This resort is friendly - the service was excellent. The buffet always had something good to eat and at lunch the a la carte option was very welcome. They did not cut corners and made a lot of things from scratch. Many people from many different countries and many returned year after year.
