I liked that there was parking for guests and with a nice walk to the center of York
The hotel was not what we expected as the internet was only available in the lobby and the hotel was not well renovated. The carpet was patched with duct tape at some seams and the door handles and locks were changed and not very secure looking. There was a gap in the door frame of our room that was unusual. The people were kind enough but it wasn't what we expected.

Pretty building. Good location not far from town / railway station.
Rooms were not air conditioned.
There for only one night, but it met needs quite well. Room not air conditioned, so had to open window for ventilation. Thankfully, on back/quiet side of hotel, so not noisy. But window open on street side would not have been so good.
