Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel Austin-Arboretum

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The manager and staff were very friendly and the breakfast and manager's reception were very nice.
Only one set of elevators, which got very busy in the mornings. We had to wait a couple of times before we could even get on one to go down because they would be full by the time it got to our floor.

Great selection of breakfast items and the cooked to order option was very nice also. Baby loved the swans and koi fish pond. Had a very pleasant stay.

Convenient location for girls' shopping trip, close to restaurants, movie theater, and shopping.
Walls seemed a little thin, could hear television next door.

I would stay here again. I wasn't real familiar with Austin, and every place I wanted to shop was within a very short driving distance. The swans, "Butch & Sundance" in the lobby were an added enjoyment.

nice but different
It was just was what i thought it would be.

I like the embassy suites on I-35 north austin better than this one. My trip to austin next year will be a different hotel.

It was in a convenient location, clean, quiet, very nice room, excellent continental breakfast.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, convenient to shopping, highways, yet it is set off so you don't have any highway noise. The arboretum is exquisite with the swans, very peaceful. The continental breakfast was excellent as was the room service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

the rooms were not as nice and updated as i planned. The wallpaper in the bathroom was gross. could use new headboards and nicer linens.

It was not the nicest Embassy I have stayed at. Could have been a lot nicer for how much I paid a night. Next time i will stay at the Hyatt in the area, seems newer and nicer. Breakfast was good. The rooms could use nicer linens and carpet steam clean. Too much $ for hotel.

Extra space in rooms for a 5 member family to spread.
Breakfast buffet needs to be expanded to accommodate the number of guests.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, spacious rooms, bathroom needs updating.
