Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel Columbia-Greystone
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 9, 2013

I traveled to visit friends with my 3 kids. The hotel is beautiful like the pictures. I thought I was paying for a 3 star hotel. This was a 2.5 star at best. Breakfast was good but I would have gotten more for my money if I paid
XXX a night and bought breakfast at McDonald's or Burger king. I am embarrassed to admit I paid
XXX per night to stay there. The heat never really kicked in at night and I slept with a sweater on. When I took my kids swimming, the chlorine was so strong my eyes started burning and I was never in the water.I work in management so I know how complaints go. I did not want anything for free, I was simply dissappointed that I spent my hard earned money for that hotel. I would never go back there again nor would I recommend that hotel to anyone. The staff was very nice. My main issue is when a hotel charges what they did and they don't deliver. The beds were okay, my linens could've been cleaner, and the carpet was worn with a few spots in it. Again I didn't want anything for free. I just wanted what I paid for. If I had spent
XXX a night I would not be typing this because I am a true believer that you get what you pay for. I feel like I got hustled and I learned to just bid on rooms and roll the dice instead of being lured with free breakfast, free parking and free Wi-Fi:( ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
As a family with two small children we like to have our kids go to bed by 9 here we can do that just close the door to the bedroom and turn our tv on. It was so nice after being in the car with my kids for over 10 hours it was nice to get some time apart. The pool was great and room service exceeded our expectations although it was pricey.

Excellent rooms and beautiful hotel. Clean and well-maintained. Definitely made for a restful night after a long day of driving. The two rooms were great since our "kids" are almost full-grown men.

This hotel was close enough to downtown Columbia, but didn't have to deal with the hassle of actually staying downtown.
