Staff were very helpful and the hotel was as expected by the description of others. We loved, loved the breakfast - one of the nicest we have encountered.
There was no extra blankets when requested - they did not have enough to go around. Pool was so crowded that our boys were not interested in going and that is why we booked there, so this was a bit of a disappointment (it was Spring Break).

Staff were excellent and helpful. We enjoyed our room and found it comfortable in the bed. Our boys found the pull out bed a little uncomfortable however. Breakfast was lovely and very appreciated. It was very nice once we got there but was a bit of an adventure to locate. The address is confusing and should be noted. We got had their legal address which is 1300 Jefferson Highway but this was not really the entrance, which was on Eads St. It was difficult to get to using our GPS due to this. I called into the hotel when we were lost and found a recording that explained which address to use and we had no problem getting there then. The other problem getting there from Virginia I-395 is that the GPS has you doing a U-Turn and flying across four lanes of traffic in a hurry. It was dangerous and if we were not coming in later in the evening, would have been impossible. This was very disconcerting and coupled with the problem with the address, makes getting there very difficult. ...read more

THE CONTINETIAL BREAKFAST WAS REALLY WORTH IT. NICE HOTEL WOULD STAY AGAIN BUT HIDDEN FEES PREVENTS ME FROM STAYING AGAIN.
DOES NOT NOT HAVE FREE WIFI - WIFI IS $12.95 PER DAY, PER DEVICE (I HAD IPAD AND MACBOOK AND EITHER PAY 25.50 PER DAY OR CHOOSE) - ADVERTISED FREE WIFI. PARKING 24.95 PER DAY - BUT IN PARKING GARAGE THERE ARE SIGNS THAT SAYS PARKING AT YOUR OWN RISK

HOTEL IS LOCATED ON MAIN ROAD - 1301 JEFFERSON DAVIS PARKWAY - HOWEVER, THERE ARE NO SIGNS THAT INDICATES THAT AND THE ENTRANCE (AND SIGN IS ONE STREET OVER, PARALLEL TO JEFFERSON DAVIS PKWY. WITHOUT GPS, I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND IT.

The room was exactly as expected, which is why we chose Embassy Suites. The staff was great.
When we called for a shuttle to pick us up one evening, rather than tell us the shuttle was a bit backed up and we would have to wait for close to an hour, we were told they would be there in about 10-15 minutes, both times we called. Just be honest.

We liked the convenience to the Metro & DC mall. Also they have accommodations for our family of six (four children, ages 13-5).
There were a few things - they charge for internet service, the faucet in the bathroom was lose, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, they charge for guest parking. Overall it was below the expectation that I have for the Embassy Suites.

The hotel is family friendly, they have a great breakfast buffet, it is close to downtown Washington and an easy walk to the Metro/subway.

The location was great. The desk staff was friendly, but Crystal Grille was not great. The waiter was not good, and the food was pretty bad too. It probably didn't help that my order got messed up, but it was still not quality.
I wish I knew about the parking fee, and the quality was lower than I expected.

We enjoyed the happy hour and my son really enjoyed getting to swim. The hotel lifeguard on duty was extremely friendly and helpful as well.
The hotel was nice, but did seem older than other Embassy Suites we've stayed at.

The hotel is a bit older than other Embassy Suites, but is still nice. The location is fairly decent. About 2 blocks from a metro stop. There aren't a lot of restaurants, etc. within walking distance. The Pentagon City mall is near the metro though and is nice. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to assist guests. We had no issues changing rooms (were initially assigned a handicap room with no tub and we have an 18 month old so we asked to switch to a regular room), the life guard was very helpful turning on the hot tub for us, laying towels out with our belongings and just overall was friendly, the happy hour employee in charge of making the drinks carried ours to our table for us so my husband could carry our son to our table! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. ...read more

This hotel definitely met our expectations. The pros definitely outweighed any cons. Complimentary, made-to-order breakfast every morning was great; room was spacious and clean; staff was very professional and courteous; and close to DC. The only con I would say would be the price for parking which is close to $30/day. We were gone most of the day and didn't get back until late, so we chose to just park on the street where you don't have to pay from 8pm until sometime in the morning. It varies depending on where you park, but it was worth it for us. I don't think we had to pay more than a few coins. Overall, a great place to stay and worth it! ...read more

The staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean and spacious.
I had to pay for internet service and parking. Although, we didn't mind the parking fee. It was convenient for us.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Pool was very nice for my young grand daughter. Breakfast was nice. Did not eat there for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.
