Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel New Orleans

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff were fantastic and friendly! Location was convenient in New Orleans to other attractions.
Usually, Embassy Suites is family-friendly, tastefully decorated. Not this one!The murels painted in the breakfast room were sleazy (a literal life-size strip tease) which stoops to the culture of the area. Our room was in another building! Beware!

After checking in, we found out we were in the "lofts" instead of the hotel itself, so in a wheelchair & with luggage, we were escorted out the parking garage to the broken sidewalks in the rain to another hotel. "The Lofts at Embassy Suites" was a total surprise and disappointment to us. Our room was in another building! BEWARE! Usually, Embassy Suites is family friendly, tastefully decorated. The murels painted in the breakfast room were sleazy (ie a literal life-size strip tease) which stoops to the culture of the area. Not appetizing, not fun to explain to the children, not appropriate, not appreciated. We will NOT be staying here again! ...read more

The hotel was in a great location.
The ceiling fan in the bedroom was very old and very noisy.

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the casino - quite a hike to the French Quarter but doable. The breakfast was great. My only gripe was the noisy ceiling fan. I told the front desk people, and nothing was done about it. That was the only disappointment. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Too much booze at the Happy Hour for some people. Maybe need to hand out tickets to limit. Became very loud!

Nice breakfast buffet.

Location is good.
We were put in a different building than the main one. For many things we had to go to the main building across the street, even to get tea. It appeared to be under staffed.

Good hotel overall but the room was very small for an embassy suites. The lofts building is not well served and it is across the street from the main building. Probably needs more personnel.

The Embassy Suites staff could not have been more friendly and helpful! They were excellent. The location was very convenient for our conference at the convention center and walking distance to the French Quarter and all trolleys.
When I booked, I thought I had booked a regular double room with two beds because it was listed as ''double room''. In fact, this means one room with ONE double bed...could have been awkward! Our relocated room was clean but sort of beat up.

While our room was "well worn" it was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on our balcony over Julia Street. The manager's reception every evening and morning breakfast were great. We walked or took the trolley all over the city- if you can handle walking a good bit, there is no need for taxi service and certainly no need for a car. The Embassy Suites staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We tipped generously, they deserved it. ...read more

Good location, far from madding crowd, yet close enough.Parking is a plus.
It's a bit dated. Shower area of bathroom was very dark.

We stayed here several years ago and were impressed enough to return.Would stay there again for sure.

The hotel was managed very well and staff was very helpful. The accommodations were quite nice.
The only thing we found a little bit difficult was managing the temperature settings on the thermostat. Our room was in the Annex and that was also a little bit difficult to manage.

We found our state to be quite nice and we would certainly recommend your hotel as a destination for a New Orleanians stay. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the food was very good.
