Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel New Orleans
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 7, 2013

After checking in, we found out we were in the "lofts" instead of the hotel itself, so in a wheelchair & with luggage, we were escorted out the parking garage to the broken sidewalks in the rain to another hotel. "The Lofts at Embassy Suites" was a total surprise and disappointment to us. Our room was in another building! BEWARE! Usually, Embassy Suites is family friendly, tastefully decorated. The murels painted in the breakfast room were sleazy (ie a literal life-size strip tease) which stoops to the culture of the area. Not appetizing, not fun to explain to the children, not appropriate, not appreciated. We will NOT be staying here again! ...

Valet parking is the only option at $30/day. Line can get a little long for Free Happy Hour, but it's free! Friendly staff. Decent Hotel very much what you would expect from Embassy.

Overall, this hotel was a great stay. Hotel is located close enough to walk to most New Orleans attractions. Parking rates were the only negative to my experience.

Nice clean modern hotel in a great location in the downtown area. Pool was nice, the breakfasts were excellent and the managers nightly gathering drew a great number of the hotel guests from their rooms. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area.

It was not the nicest Embassy Suite I have stayed at-older hotel. They told me my room-type reservation was just a "request" and tried to put us in a standard room. She told me they were sold out of the suites. When I began calling Priceline- they found me a suite that I had confirmed online.

We really enjoyed the hotel and the room was really nice. Especially enjoyed the balcony at night. Staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they had a Starbucks, however, you coulnd't use your Starbucks giftcard.
