Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel Washington DC Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location
Parking was $40, that could have been cheaper

It was my first time staying at Embassy Suites and I really enjoyed my stay.

Great room and location!
Solid all the way around. For the first time in a while with 4 people in the room I didn't have to call down for that fourth set of bath items.

The Embassy Suites is a nice property at a location that worked well for me.
I was forced to lodge in a smoking room.

Careful how you book. I used a 3rd party to book my reservation and was told by the manager that I had to take the room that he gave me. I was assigned a smoking room. I explained to the Manager that I had allergies and sleeping in a smoking room presented health issues. I asked if I could pay more to get a non-smoking room and was told I could not. I asked for my money back, but was told he could not refund my money. I asked if there was a room at a sister property (a sister property was not terribly far away) and he did not even check. I asked the Manager for the number to the corporate office to make a complaint and he gave me a card that was for the Convention Center property. The Manager was very indifferent. I spent the better part of the night with my door open trying to breathe. ...read more

That Wi Fi not gratis with the room, could not use our smart phones and IPadsIn our room, and Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, McDonald's free Wi Fi , worked outParking fee quite expensive, $46/noct. Daily car rental fee only $30, next trip

Great location, current construction in close vicinity but well controlled so no difficulty with gettingIn and out. DC attractions within walking distance but taxis buses and tours available and handy brochures in the lobby. The Embassy staff very welcoming and efficient. Plan to Start you day earlyAs the gov't attractions close at 5pm, DC IS Awesome. Our 5 days not enough to do more than scratch the surface. And great to come back to our attractive and clean and comfortable EmbassySuite. Highly recommend the Segway tour, a truly fun close up adventure thru the Capitol attractions, closer than the tour buses. Had very.
