Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Philadelphia Valley Forge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was well done, although the french toast was a little soggy, and it seems as if having one chef to work the cook to order station is an automatic fail.Clearly this individual needed help, still he was cordial.
Yes. Rosa. Rosa who works the front desk was EXTREMELY rude to my friend and I. My friend had forgotten her ID &Rosa treated us both as if we didn't matter. Rosa actually began speaking to the man in line BEHIND us before we were able to completely move.

When I go to a hotel, I am expecting a friendly atmosphere and a dedicated staff. What I experienced at Embassy was not that. What I encountered was Rosa, an extremely rude front desk worker and a staff who failed to correct her, or try to make the situation right.I also encountered a chef so over worked that he could've dropped on the spot. I don't know if it is Embassy's policy to disregard guests, push them to the side, &be short with them, but this was Rosa's policy, clearly. What happened? I went to check in and realized that I had forgotten my ID. Rosa shut me down instantly, I called my friend over to see if we could quickly think of a solution, since Rosa had none to offer. All she kept saying was how she could do nothing for me with out an ID. She even raised her voice a bit, which I found embarrassing. What should've happen? Rosa should've said, I'm sorry I can't put the reservation through without the proper ID, if you can get someone to bring it for you, as soon as you have it please come to the counter and I will take you right away. Instead she snapped us, told us that she would be unable to process the room, and instead of asking us to move, OR inviting us to wait at the bar where we might have purchased something, she actually asked the gentleman behind us to step forward to be helped. My wallet was still on the counter! My papers on the desk, my phone in the crick of my neck! In my mind this was unacceptable costumer service. I work with students all day and never, ever would it occur to me to be that rude to anyone asking for assistance. We felt truly uncomfortable staying at Embassy, had we not paid in advance we surely would've attempted to go elsewhere. Not only was she rude, when we returned to the counter w/ the ID she could not find the prepaid reservation because she, INTENDED TO GIVE IT AWAY AND FORGOT. Give it away? we asked, because surely we couldn't have heard her right, but yes, she said, she HAD intended to give away the room. ...read more

Excellent price for this hotel; public spaces were clean and attractive, breakfast had great selections.
We were assigned to a handicap-accessible room. The bathroom was spacious but the room itself was cramped, with the mini-fridge on the floor next to the bed with not a lot of room in between.

Decent breakfast
Room had an unbearable smoke smell. A coworker had the same issue when he stayed there. It was hard to sleep with the stale smoke odor. The traffic can very easily be heard on the highway early in the morning which also made it impossible to sleep.

I would definately not stay at this hotel again.

The room/location and amenities were perfect for our needs. The hotel is close to several youth sports facilities and seem to host these groups. There were young hockey teams in the hotel and they were exuberant, but they did not bother us.
Only two elevators and no steps from the lower floors to the main floor (emergency only exit).

Park-like setting. Walking path, great breakfast included. Made to order omelets, as well as the standard eggs, bacon, sausage and pastries. Fresh cut up fruit (not canned).

It offers a complimentary breakfast, free manager cocktail hour and a roomy suite.
we love the hotel & staff were very helpful & friendly.

We booked this through Priceline Express deals after my bid failed. This is beyond an excellent deal for the Philadelphia metro area.

The rooms and facility was excellent, extremely clean.
The housekeeping staff left a lot to be desired. They cleaned the rooms at 9:00am in the morning. Because it was 6:00am West Coast time, we were always sleeping when they came by. We had to call for clean towels and to have our room cleaned

Fantastic free breakfast, include a made-to-order omelet station. Complete choice of pastries, bread, bacon, sausage, eggs and juices.

Hotel was great. Older property but everything is updated and well maintained.
We enjoyed everything; no issues at all except a desk clerk not being able/wanting to find my hilton points number.

For the Malvern, Collegeville, King of Prussia area this is a great choice.

Location was good
I arrived late and ate at the bar as the restaurant was closed. I ordered filet mignon. At $26 I didn't expect it to be a wonderful meal, but it was awful. If it had not been 10:15 PM I would have sent it back and gone elsewhere.

Average hotel - awful dinner but great breakfast
