Location can't be beat in the historic center. Killer roof bar with a point blank view of the illuminated Cathedral and Giralda Tower. Great shower. String quartet at the entrance to the hotel on New Year's Day.
Staff not helpful compared to similar hotels around the world. Quirkiness of the layout made our room dysfunctional (but I think there are many different layouts).

If possible, try to see your room before you stay there.

The hotel staff was incredible. They gave us an upgrade to a wonderful suite.

The location was perfect -- literally across the street from the cathedral and steps from all of the sites and shops. We had a car but never needed it because everything was so close by. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite with our own private balcony and hot tub. The view was beyond compare and the amenities were wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful, understanding of our limited Spanish, and one staffer even refused to accept a gratuity when it was offered. We loved the place so much, we extended our stay by one day and, if we could have, we would have extended it further. We will definitely return to Seville and to this hotel. ...read more
