Staff was great, very friendly & helpful. Location was terrific.
Our toilet broke, we had to move rooms.
The bed was comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are not super fancy, but it's the location that's most important - you can be in the park/beach in 2 minutes. We loved the old Decco style, and lobby was redone very nicely.

Great location, friendly but unobtrusive staff
No vent fan in bathroom, room a little on the small side, no view from our bedroom window
At the price we paid (about $230/room per night inc. tax) this was a reasonable deal for a good location in the heart of the Art Deco district right next door to its sister hotel, The Clevelander. This is not a luxury hotel, however provides decent and clean basic comforts for tourists.
