Newly renovated hotel in a town full of older hotels.
It would have been nice if breakfast had been included.

Renovated in 2012 I heard. Great location in Estes Park. Beautiful view of the river from our room. Bar/dining area also located on river. Helpful staff. A great buy, especially considering how much better a deal it is than the old, famous because-it-was-in-a-movie hotel in town.

The pool was out of order and it was the main reason we stayed there. It did not have anything on the website nor did they say anything when we checked in.

The location and lake setting was perfect.
The initial room they put us in was terrible. We had to ask to change rooms.

The overall location and hotel stay was very nice and we felt that the rate was fair and the quality was good. We had a great time and the lake view was a huge plus.

Customer service was appalling. They did not help us with luggage and lied that they don't have bell service whereas it is clearly mentioned in the service menu. Room service put our old linen back that we requested to be changed.

The location was fantastic - the views in the morning sun were AMAZING.
We received a 2 bed room - it was unnecessary for the 2 of us.

The decor of the room was nice.
The food was only so-so and the main lobby bathroom was completely without toilet paper twice.

It was a decent hotel, but I excepting more for the price.

Location on lake with views was beautiful, bed was very comfortable, and very clean.
Our room was in the basement with a small window that looked out into a drainage area next to a sidewalk!

Very clean and well appointed spacious rooms. No air conditioning, but they did have a ceiling fan. Microwave, fridge, table and chairs were in the room.

View from our room was overlooking the lake - spectacular!

The waiter in the restaurant was very helpful and went above and beyond to find answers to our questions. He gave us great advice about the area. Our room was very nice and spacious, and the view of Lake Estes was beautiful!
