The Executive Inn and Suites Embarcadero Cove is bad, with no restaurant, limited shuttle service (none to the airport before 6 am).

Room was clean, modern and roomy. The cheap flat screen TV was horrid-constantly pixelating and sound interruption all evening. When I entered the hotel lobby, the noise from the street was beyond belief. I asked for a room not facing the freeway and was immediately told I needed to fork over $25 more dollars-I refused-they then said they would settle for $15-I refused. Suddenly, they managed to find a quieter room on the other side of the hotel.

We needed just a night at the hotel before our early morning flight out of Oakland. We arrived late at night so we didn't explore the property other than our room. Check-in was a breeze. We stayed on the third floor facing the freeway, but the noise wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The decor of the room is straight out of the 90's, but it was clean so it didn't bother me. The bathroom tub didn't drain properly - main problem, but again, we were only there for the night. Good place for a quick stay. I wouldn't stay any longer. ...
