We enjoyed our stay; the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great, and the indoor pool was wonderful.

The grounds of the hotel were cute and well maintained.
The rooms were not clean and had a musty smell to them. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

I wasn't expecting much from this motel based on the reviews I saw, but I was very disappointed with the rooms. As soon as we walked in the door we were hit with a musty smell and a wave of heat since the AC was off. The room itself was very dark and everything in the room was very old. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and slightly damp from all the humidity trapped in the room. Overall it felt like the room had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The location is great, a short drive to Old Orchard Beach about 30 minutes to Wells, York Zoo, Maine Mall. Nice playground and gazebo.
It's not very pretty and could use some common touch ups like patch painting and had a funny smell. not terribly clean but I've seen worse.

If you are looking for just a place to crash while on vaca and don't care what it looks like then this place is good. has a very nice playground for kids, a pretty gazebo and close to the city and beach so for the price it's a good choice. It's not attractive inside but is a place to sleep so you can spend your money on fun things to do outside the room instead of all of it on the room. Queen bed was smaller than our queen at home so had a tight fit with our four year old wedged between us, but we made it work. ...read more

rooms are dirty and outdated

staff was friendly, hotel was ok not great but we didn't expect to be in the room alot just to sleep, shower and store our belongings
