Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America Albuquerque - Rio Rancho

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nice suite.
The name gives one the impression that it's a low income housing facility rather than a hotel.

Neat with nice appearance. Found out about customer/tenant staying there several weeks already. Tenant sounded like they were complaining to a landlord rather than a hotel clerk. Hotel clerk was polite and nice, however.

It had a refrigerator and a microwave.
The appliances ran extremely loudly, the drains smelled like mold.

It smelled like cigarette smoke in a nonsmoking room, and was noisy.

I won't stay there again.

Friendly staff.
The bed was too firm and the pillows were lumpy.

Located in Rio Rancho, NM, Extended Stay America overlooks the beauty of the snow-capped Sandia Mountains and is conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, and Cottonwood Mall. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the hotel is neat and clean.

Next door to our project.
No breakfast.

Was just fine for its purpose.

The rooms were very clean.
The entire hotel reaked of cigarette smell on all the three floors.

The hotel was easy to get to but there are no signs visible from the road leading you to the hotel. The hotel looked nice from the outside and in the lobby. Once you moved away from the lobby, all of the floors had the strong distinct odor of cigarette. Once inside the rooms I could not smell the smoke. The rooms are very basic and clean, nothing fancy or eye catching, very vanilla. Check-in and check out was very easy except that I had to pay an extra $10 to get two beds instead of one.

The room smelled, was small and the bed was not firm. The sheets and blankets were torn, yes torn and had holes. The bare minimums provided were not to my satisfaction. One soap, no conditioner or shampoo, one packet of coffee per room (no matter how ling you stayed), and no room service or maid service. This doesn't include the dirtiness of the carpets, small TV and non-working alarm clock. Don't ask for a wake up call, they don't provide them. Also the noise from the other rooms. I was kept up two nights in a row with my neighbor yelling into his phone, I did call the front desk, that was vacant. The dead bolt worked on the door, but the secondary lock was broken. I did not feel very safe here. ...read more

It has a kitchen, as limited as it was.
Everything from the noise, smell, service or lack thereof. Seems as if you will be getting more from hotel.

I was very dissatisfied with this place. From the noise of the other rooms, unclean sheets and torn blankets, to the smell in the room and down the hall it seemed to be a place that I would not advertise on my site. The front end staff was OK one day and down right rude the next. There were so many problems, that I can not list them all here or care to go into detail by wasting my time.

The location was near restaurants and local stores and mall in rio rancho.
it was in a secluded area behind a car dealership.

if you are planning on staying longer than 2 days this hotel would be ideal. It is an extended stay hotel.
