Extended Stay America Los Angeles - Valencia

When we checked in, we were given a "non-smoking single" room. When we went to the room it was evident that it was
not non-smoking. Even with the window open, it smelled so strong that I couldn't even breathe. The front desk was great about switching the room. Although the original room had a beautiful view of the oaks in the courtyard and the second room looked over the parking lot. You would have thought they would have known that the first room really wasn't non-smoking. It is also strange that you don't get housekeeping service daily. You can take your towels to exchange at the front desk, but this is the first place (even with staying at other extended stay locations) that doesn't service your room more than once a week. New, attractive, clean, functional.

My daughter and I arrived in the evening at like 8 pm. We were up all night long because there was a lady in the room above us screaming all night long and jumping and banging. When I called the front desk I was told they would check on it and had received similar complaints. Ten minutes later I called back as it had gotten even worse and i was told by the front desk that the woman did not have her medication !! it went on and on all night long. I called the front desk in the morning and asked if I could stay till 2 pm and sleep as I was exhausted from the night before and he said it was OK, but he did not know anything about the turn of events from the other shift before him. He told me he was the manager and could not comp. anything for me. I will never stay there again even smells weird and has people leaving there who are very weird. My family and i did not like this hotel at all-it was horrible-completely uncomfortable-I have stayed at 1 star hotels, but i don't even think this deserves 1 star. .

This hotel is fine for the price paid. It's clean and in a convenient location. It's very basic with no frills. The room was clean, but needed some remodeling and newer blankets, sheets, etc. It's a no frills place that is inexpensive to stay. I'd stay a day or two, but not longer than that.

The hotel was very clean. At times it was a little annoying because the hotel is pet friendly and dogs were barking in the other room. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I will not return to this hotel ever.

The room reeked of smoke. Burn marks in the carpet. The sheets were dingy & the blanket had holes. Very disappointed. I had stayed at ESA at another location in the past & was pleased - this location is very run down.

The hotel is not so bad. It was clean and marginally pleasant. There were no cockroaches or bedbugs as reviewed. The staff was very competent and professional. It suited the needs of me and my friend who met here to do fun things over the weekend. The
