Extended Stay America - Minneapolis-Eden Prairie-Valley View Rd

Checkin took 25 minutes for clerk to figure out how to check me in. Last week I had frying pans in kitchenette that were unusable because they were filthy. This wee I had no pan at all. Not good.

This is a great hotel for those coming from other countries such as India. They have an Indian Chanel and seem to cater specifically for those of that ethnicity. So I believe they're welcoming to all backgrounds and culture. The design in the hotel is very simple in the rooms and has nice colors on the walls to make you feel your in pleasant luxury. It's very quiet around the hotel, sound doesn't travel to much through the doors and walls so you sometimes forget somone could be in the room right next to you. I also want to express deeply that the staff here are exceptionally nice. Accomadating, polite, and very helpful. They took a lot of stress off me, and handled things well when I needed some help. I have stayed at both extended stays in Eden Prairie and this one on Technology drive is by far MUCH better than the other. I feel comfortable just calling down to the front desk and asking a simple question anytime. I highly recommend staying here. Not really pleased with the whole experience. The people were nice and friendly but it seemed too much problems to handle really.

While this hotel does not have any adjacent dining options there are many available within a 1-2 mile drive. I could see the 212/494 highway intersection from my second floor window but traffic noise was pretty much a non-issue due to the setback of the property from the highway. I know previous reviews have mentioned a too hard bed but I must say that the pillow-top mattress while firm was fine for me. I had no issues with the carpeting but can only speak for the room I stayed in. The TV was about a 32inch HD flatscreen but the service was standard def. The total channels available totalled 24 and I have listed below. While it is probably a shorter list compared to more pricey hotels I did find it adequate.
