Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America Oakland - Alameda
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 1, 2013

Search on Yelp for nearby restaurants. Take the bus and the BART to save a few bucks, or if you're going to San Fran, consider the ferry. Definitely check out one of Alameda's or Oakland's farmers' markets--they've got multiple every day!

Good price, safe location, comfortable rooms, make sure you check in advance if you want non-smoking. They have too many smoking rooms and you may get one. Don't expect a breakfast, couple of snacks and coffee available. Staff is excellent. All of them will work to make your stay a good one.

Hotel is in much safer area than Oakland locations. Efficient, clean and comfortable with a really good staff. Nothing fancy here, no hot breakfast, etc., but for the price it's perfect...

Only complaint was that this is a smoking hotel. My bio with Priceline states non-smoking room, but the hotel states that its up to them not Priceline. Staff was nice enough to find me a non smoking room, but if they hadn't had one I would have had to take smoking room. When elevator stops on smoking floor you had to hold you breath and close your eyes. Really thick...Priceline should explain this policy better. ...
