Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America Pittsburgh - Carnegie
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 5, 2013

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. If I had remembered it, I would not have booked it again. But it was much improved on this trip. It says its been renovated. There was new carpet and curtains and the outside of the building had fresh paint but not sure what else was new. The bathroom was still old paint and old fixtures and the kitchenette looked the same. Only 2 plates, bowls and cups in the cupboard with a saucepan and skillet so a family would have to take turns eating. When checking in, the desk clerk casually asked if I had stayed there before and gave us a good run through of the place, the take and go breakfast and offered shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc if we had forgotten them. These are kept at the front desk instead of the rooms. And then gave us a nice room on the 3rd floor away from everyone else. Guess my name was in the computer for my complaints/review the last time I was there. Overall, the overnight stay was comfortable. We both were able to sleep on this trip with no one pacing in the room above or talking/running in the halls and, as I said already, the mattress was very comfortable. The room did get hot and then cool down with the heating system cycles and a little noisy but was still comfortable. Breakfast of apples, oranges, granola bars and packets of instant oatmeal set up at the hotel entrance made us decide to check out to find a real breakfast elsewhere. Checkout was quick and friendly. ...

As I had said previously, the staff is exceptional. The location is convenient to the highway and downtown Pittsburgh. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent cable and free wi-fi. Good price, no complaints.
