Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America Portland - Hillsboro

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Hotel is conveniently located in close proximity to Tanasborne shopping area with easy access to highway 26.
Had some minor issues with bathroom faucets.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly, room was clean, and it was nicely located near a shopping complex.

Advertised free breakfast, but was poor snack at best and worst breakfast I have had at any hotel I have visited. Would not give us a room with a king size bed even though they were available.

The design of the room was very comfortable and updated.
The sofa was too small for 2. The bed was way too soft and 2 people roll to the center of the bed! Torn arm rest on lobby couch was not a good greeting but the room was very nice and well kept with an updated look.

Room was super cute like studio apt. The staff especially the manager Hadar went above and beyond to make my stay awesome!
only minor problem was bad phone reception

I loved having a mini-kitchen in the room (great to store some groceries for my toddlers). The furniture and fixtures looked new and everything was very clean. The luggage rack by the front desk was a huge help in getting all my luggage to my room too.
I wish the continental breakfast had some more options, such as cereal, juice, bananas, milk, etc.

Location of the hotel is fantastic! Right by the mall and grocery stores. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room is clean, spacious and very quiet. I would definitely stay here in the future.

If you are not by the elevator the trip to the room can take a long time(100 yards)

Nice room, nice people, Hotel layout is bad when you are on the third floor in the nose bleed seats, the trip is the length of a football field. Instead of the only elevator being located in the middle of the building, it's at one end. Major screw-up w/architect. Turns a 8/10 rating to a 1/10 rating depending on if you're on the top floor at the opposite end.

Fully equipment kitchen, roomy.
The bed quality was very poor. We all woke with aches and pains. No entry, had to turn several times to get in.

Decent for the price and location.

The kitchen, having the ability to cook and
not have to go to restaurants.
Tiny, double bed, appliances very loud, cycling on and off all night and
no sleep possible.

It was overpriced for the accommodation. The 'breakfast' was the worst, I've had while traveling. Only offering was very low-end, stale bagels, cream cheese, and stale, low-quality hyper-sweet muffins and
weak coffee. The location was great, close to where we had business to take care of, but bring earplugs due to loud appliances. Even with earplugs we couldn't sleep. Bed for two was double, not even queen. Charged exorbitant amount for pets, $25.00 per night per pet with no housekeeping. ...read more
