Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America - Atlanta - Perimeter - Peachtree Dunwoody
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 18, 2013

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room i stayed in was very spacious with decent size refrigerator and a small kitchen that included utensils. The only reason I gave it such a low rating is because the room smell of food and cigarette(really strong too). I didn't contact the front desk to see if they can fix the issue though, but at the same time, a room should not smell like that at all if it was cleaned with the right cleaners. ...

Good Perimeter location, reasonably clean, a little more comfortable than a basic hotel room. Expect a bit of deferred maintenace in your room, and expect to be ignored at the front desk (clerks always seem to be in the back office or adjacent work areas, there is no bell to alert them that you are there....and/or there is no camera system that they are paying attention to to see that you are there....if they are copying, scanning or faxing, you may have to say HELLO several times to get someone's attention). They have put the beds on risers, unless you are 6' or taller, it is a stretch to get in and out of bed (perhaps a lower riser would be more comfortable for the guests, but maintain the illusion of a higher quality mattress). Please note that 255 Characters is often not enough to convey what you like or do not like about a hotel....whereas you are allowing 2000 Characters for a review). ...

the room was very nice and stylish in decor; it was pretty clean for the most part; the staff was agreeable, non-intrusive and helpful. laundry facilities were a tad pricey ($2 per wash and per dry) and weirdly sharing a space with the workout equipment ?? but it didn't turn out to pose a problem; free breakfast offering lacked the cereal we all know and love in favor of dry cereal bars and oatmeal packets; no milk, no juice : (conveniently located; mixed bag of clientele. overall, a good experience for the price I secured through Priceline (but I could see this place can be expensive if reserved through the hotel itself). ...

The hotel was rated 2 star, but it compared equally to many 3 stars I have been in. Great shopping is convenient. The location was very quiet with nice landscaping. The convenience of the kitchen and the generous size of the bathroom gave my stay a home-like feel. I would definitely choose this hotel for future visits.

I realize I'm late in reviewing this hotel, but if you submit this information to the hotel, they can verify that the wi-fi was not working and that the pool was closed. The only issue I have with the situation (given the price) was that the lack of internet service caused me a REAL problem. I had to get up @ 0500 to be at a Starbuck's when it opened so that I could crank out some work before an 0800 mtg. It was a REAL inconvenience. I felt for the front staff clerk since she told me: I've been on the phone for 2 hours with the [company that provides the service]...we can't get it to work." Can't I have some credit for a future stay with a Priceline hotel...something for this. There were folks walking downstairs from their rooms upset about the situation. It was akin to the tv being out, but worse.
Regarding the hotel itself, it was slightly run down (thus the cheap rate), but had a nice television, was fairly clean and at least breakfast was SOMETHING. Also, it's in a GREAT area...exactly where I needed it: close to MARTA and near my client.
But, don't say you have an indoor/outdoor pool when neither are open. Don't say you have internet when it's not working. ...
