Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Austin Northwest
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(3) | Solo Traveler(3) | Traveling as Couple(13) | Family with Young Children(2) | Family with Teens(3) | Group Traveler(4)

They upgraded us to a King suite. The staff was very good.
Good hotel. Not a Wow! experience, but solid and would stay there again.

It was nice they had free happy hour on Wednesday evening, although the pizza and salad were not good. At least they tried.
Having a train run in the back and a freeway in the front make this hotel in a very bad location. I would never want to stay here again.
Rooms were small, stay away.

For the AC/Heater in the hotel room, when it's running, the sound is big.
It's good!

Helpful staff and breakfast included. Bed was comfortable.
Fairfield Inns are minimalists. The towels are functional but not fluffy. This hotel is close to a busy railroad track and the noise did wake us up during the night.
Close to the Arboretum was great. Hotel was clean and the staff helpful.

It was a great location for where we needed to be in Austin. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
The water in the shower and sink fluctuated wildly between hot and cold making showers very uncomfortable. There was no luggage rack in the room. When asked the front desk said none of the rooms had them. Only place to place luggage was on desk or bed.

The rooms were somewhat small but very well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and had a large variety of choices both hot and cold. Coffee/tea was available all day in the lobby.
We really liked the hotel. We did talk to someone on the east side of the hall who said they heard the trains in the night. The television was analog and the picture was a little fuzzy. We could not get any HD channels which seemed odd.
The location is next to the Domain shopping area which is nice if you want to shop or go to restaurants near the hotel. Traffic in Austin is terrible, so if it is rush hour, expect to spend over an hour getting to the downtown area. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast area was very large and comfortable.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating!
There was long, straight hair all over our bedspread and on some of the tile in the shower.I'm positive it was not ours because my hair is curly and my husband is close shaved.
