Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Anchorage Midtown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 3, 2013

The beds could have been much better, they were definitely on the lower end of the value spectrum. Tv was good. Need to give better access to a receptacle near the beds without having to unplug something. The room overall was clean

This hotel is okay if you are just wanting to stay in Anchorage for a day or two at a cheap rate. I chose it even though it was only a 2.5 star hotel because the rating was 8/10. I don't really think it deserved a 8/10 rating. More like a 5/10. It was clean and really nothing terribly wrong -- just threadbare and rather uninviting rooms and bathrooms. Free breakfast was acceptable. Nothing special. The location is fine if you have a car or if you are only going to and from the airport, otherwise you feel like you are out in the boonies. I won't choose a 2.5 star hotel again. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
I have stayed at this hotel before and I highly recommend it. It was convenient to have a free breakfast especially as we were traveling with young children and there were several food choices to choose from. We played in the pool/jacuzzi for 3 hours! The kids were happy and "worn out" and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We requested a roll away bed for extra sleeping and the staff was very prompt in providing it. I have experienced the good, bad, ugly and I do not think some of these places meet the criteria for the ratings they have received. Some of 3 star hotels desperately need remodeling and provide better amenities. There are some great hotels in Anchorage that should be rated better.
