Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Cumberland
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 30, 2013

The hotel is located just off the highway but directions from map quest as well as my GPS were confusing.

This Fairfield Inn was virtually new and just lovely in our book. Just could not have been nicer. Staff was helpful with dinner plans and breakfast was very well done. We were a little nervous because Cumberland MD is off the beaten path and the price was attractive, though it had a high rating. It was a little tricky to get to right off the highway but that should not be a deterrent to anyone. Go for it! ...

Desk clerk recommended a local bar/restaurant (Oscar's) for dinner and gave me a 10% off coupon. It was very good and very reasonable. Not fancy at all, just a local bar, but nice people. Great beer!

Even for a Fairfield, this is a very nice well kept property. Excellent stay, and will always try to stay here in the future.

We like the Hotel, the area is great. The breakfast was much more that we expected. I would go back to this Hotel if I needed to.

This hotel is outside of a beautiful, old, historical, rustic, industrial city - and it's sparkling clean and brand new. We were SO impressed with the room and every other area of the hotel. We arrived literally in the middle of the night and they were awake and friendly and welcoming. The shower was incredible! Spacious, nice water pressure, everything was great. We went for our delicious free breakfast and realized we had left our toothbrushes at home. As we browsed the little store area, a manager or staff of some sort greeted us, apologized for a tiny open box that was out as they restocked (silly!), and asked if we needed anything. We laughed and said, sheepishly, we forgot our toothbrushes. She pulled two brand new toothbrushes out from under her desk and said, "That is the most commonly forgotten item!" and we joked for a second and were not required to pay for them - which was a breath of fresh air! We were just VERY comfortable there, like we were home. ...
