Helpful staff, and a great breakfast. there was easy access to the highway leading to the caverns.
The billing was goofy. I believe I paid price-line for the rooms, but was billed by the hotel as well. It seems a billing payment screen was not sent to the hotel. I am waiting to resolve the billing question

Bright cheerful rooms and nice big bathroom with black, white and bright green decor!
Wireless was not working properly when we were there and we could not use it in our room.

Location.
In comparison to other Fairfield Inn's, the price is double. This is due to the oil business and not fair.

The hotel is new and clean. However, the AC controller has been set to only go below 68 degrees. This sounds cold but, it's not. The controller is on the wall opposite of the unit and the cold air hits the controller and gives it a false reading of colder than it is. We had to open the windows to get it to a bearable temperature. The hotel management is worried too much about the bottom line and not enough about the customer to keep them comfortable. If you travel in the winter, you should be fine. Give it up if you travel in the summer. All other Fairfields I've stayed in allow for the controller to go to 62 degrees which in reality, gets the room to about 70. ...read more

Friendly staff, excellent service and very accommodating.
The pool was very small.

Very nice appearance and friendly staff. They were very helpful and made us feel welcome.

Good choice in Carlsbad. Great breakfast.

The Fairfield was a good choice for Calsbad Caverns. It is not the closest hotel to the Caverns, but the cleanest and nicest of the choices. Pay the xtra money to stay here over cheaper options in town. Great breakfast. Pool was small but clean. Rooms new and clean.

Very clean&good breakfast.
Pool a litte small.

Nice hotel, great location,easy to find Walmart is right next door so if you forget anything it's right next door, very clean good selection for breakfast worth the money paid.
