Senior Travelers
We were in town for the birth of our first grandchild and found the hotel very understanding of our crazy schedule! The breakfast was a wonderfully easy way for us to start our mornings and the staff was warm and very efficient. We certainly would stay here again.

Solo Traveler
It's in a long row of other Marriott properties, so if you want Residence Inn or Courtyard or whatever, that's there too. I like Fairfield because of the combination of price and what it gives you - the basics. Good shower, clean bathroom, big beds, chair with ottoman, desk and chair with free Wi-Fi, free parking, nice TV. Desk staff was helpful in finding dinner. Easy as heck to get to the interstate and go to Chicago or anywhere else in the area (I was there to go to Three Floyds Brewing in Munster for a couple days). The woman at the front desk looked like she was getting worked over pretty good by a couple of picky, complaining customers, but she kept her cool and did what she could to get them in one of the neighboring Marriott properties, which I respected. All in all, I would come back. Got a great deal on Priceline. ...

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Small but adequate pool for recreation or relaxing. Small but adequate workout room.
