the only disadvantage is room may be little small.

it is a very nice experience to stay in this hotel, I like all of it, even the small room.

The hotel had a perfect location - very close to the Empire State Bldg and Fifth Avenue. The breakfast menu was awesome.
We got a room that had a door to another room and it was very noisy...since the other family was up late.

Great hotel, staff was very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat with little kids. The breakfast was great, had a much bigger selection than what you would think a continental style breakfast has. We will keep this hotel in our list.

The staff was great. They were personable and knowledgeable.
The rugs were just shampooed. The room smelled damp and the floor was damp. Also, we didn't like the shelf above the bathroom sink it left us little room to wash up at the sink.

Nice location, we were able to walk to our events. The staff was great and friendly. Sadly, the rugs were just cleaned and it smelled and was damp.

It is a clean, attractive hotel with helpful, competent staff.
Everything is miniature. But in this part of Manhattan, what can you expect for $XXX/night?

We chose based on location, price and online reviews. Given past experiences in NYC I was expecting it to be most distasteful. I was completely surprised and pleased to discover that it is an attractive hotel, with new furnishings, apparently clean and with helpful staff who were polite and knew their jobs. The room was only a little larger than the king-size bed but miniature accommodations is the Manhattan way, so that was expected. Breakfast was what you would expect at any chain-brand motel¿not very appealing. I made a careful inspection for bed bugs and I don't believe we encountered any. ...read more

Location was awesome--easy walking distance to Grand Central and Times Square.
The breakfast nook was tiny! We ate breakfast in our room because the guest:table ration was too high. That said, breakfast was pretty typical: fruit, cereal, waffles, breads, muffins and oatmeal.

The bed was comfortable, it was located between Madison Square/Shopping area and Times Square/Theater District so everything was relatively close, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and breakfast was terrific.
The room is so small that there's no place to hang clothes/coats or put your suitcase that it isn't in the way. There's literally about a 3 foot walkway between the bed and the walls. The bathroom had very little space to put toiletries and the shower sta

My husband and I stayed here because I thought it would be convenient. We travelled via Amtrak train and arrived at Penn Station. It had snowed the night before so it was very icey when we arrived late Friday night and freezing cold air. The station is between 31st & 33rd St. From the station, we trekked over to E 34th St, hung a right down E 34th Street toward Macy's, hung a left at 6th Ave (Ave of the Americas), and right at 37th street. Maybe because it was so cold and we had bags, but it felt like a longer walk than I had expected and particularly 37th St was dark and unpopulated. There are two X rated stores to pass prior to getting to the hotel entrance. Not too risque for adults, but I wouldn't take this walk with kids. I didn't feel unsafe, per se, but it was not a well-lit walk and, again, there weren't many people on that section of 37th. During the day it didn't feel as bad and it was nice to be able to walk to everything. It does require some walking, so wear comfortable shoes, cover your ears and head in the winter, and dress appropriately. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful and we slept great. No noise. Excellent breakfast with Jimmy Dean egg/sausage sandwiches, waffle maker, yogurt, oatmeal/cereals, bagels, donuts/danishes, etc. Free coffee and hot chocolate all day. I think I'd look for a place closer to Times Square next time along 7th Ave (closer to 42nd St)because I like to be where the people and activities are. ...read more

Very nice newly renovated room. Staff was super. Breakfast was just right.
Rooms a tad small but we were out and about and only slept there.

Every thing was fine. Stay here.

We were visiting with our daughter, son-in-law and baby and the hotel provided adjoining rooms to allow us to share child care responsibilities, and a crib with a room large enough to accommodate it.
The rooms are well appointed but small with very little storage space - no closets, no drawers.

Great location; small lobby, small rooms, good buffet breakfast for this type of hotel, staff was helpful.

The location was excellent! Very close to the Empire State Building, subways and Time's Square.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very comfortable room and bed. Great price. Excellent location!
