The place is new and amenities were as expected. Pool is on the east side of the building, so no evening and limited afternoon sun.
The hotel is a pretty good distance from food and or bar/restaurants. By the map it shows about 4 miles to the main downtown area, but its riddled with lights and stop signs. That 4 miles is about 20 minutes.
Great hotel for traveling through. Not so great if you were going to use this as a staging point for vacation in the area. For the price, pay a little extra and get closer to the downtown area.

had a really good breakfast , beds were very comfortable
pool area was a little small, only enough chairs for about 10 people
located by the interstate but the hotel is well insulated for sound so that is not a problem. It is surrounded by a cattle farm so, you relly have to drive a ways to get to anything. nearest food is about 1/2 mile,very comfortable rooms

The front desk clerk gave me a map with a highlighted route to the beach, resturants, and shopping. I liked that my room came with a microwave and refrigerator.
The room was a bit small. There was no access to the back door by the pool on the highway side of the hotel. When I returned late one night the only option for parking was on that side and I had to walk around to the other side to access the backdoor.

Very clean and staff was pleasant and helpful. Beautifully decorated.
Had no hot water the first night but that was quickly corrected.
We visit family in the Englewood/Venice area frequently and I am glad that we found this hotel.
