Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairfield Inn Terre Haute

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Hotel was under renovation, nice furnishings.
The staff was horrible... told me that my reservation would not work so had to call priceline cause the priceline credit card was refused. The breakfast was horrible too -- food was old and dried out, fruit was not ripe and the area was not attractive

I will never stay at a fairfield inn again and Priceline should not even have them listed as a place to stay

Nice rooms. Nice hot tub.

Still finishing renovation, but not a problem!

Lots of updates in both rooms and public spaces...anyone would like this
The whirlpool looked green (bad chemicals); the room air vent filter was so clogged that you could see the room key though it (have a picture)

The hotel has easy off access from I-70. Lots of recent upgrades which really make the hotel very appealing inside.

room was like new as it had been completely remodeled and a new mattress too. Staff was great and helpfull. They even offered to help carry our luggage in and out as the entryway was being remodled. We declined the offer but appreciated the gesture.
We had to look for the hotel entrance as it is not marked where to turn off the adjacent street,(there were three hotels all together). They need a sign by the main road.

There is alot of remodeling going on and the results will be great when finished, however some may find this to be too bothersome to deal with. We personally didn't mind because the staff made up for any inconvienience. We will definately stay at this location again when in town.

Rooms were great.
W We were not informed when we booked the room that the hotel was under construction. I am sure when its done it will b a fine 3 star hotel, but for now I give it a 1 1/2!

The staff and room were nice, but even though the parking lot was near empty I was placed in a room right next to the construction, which started at 8:00 am with a noon check-out.
The hotel was under construction. Even though the parking lot was almost clear of cars and I was the first one checking in, my room was right next to the 8:00 am hammering and construction of the stairs. Pool was also under construction.

The trip was fine, the only upsetting thing was the construction. I wasn't really made aware of this fact untill check-in, and was kind of disappointed. Also, I was visiting some friends to watch the superbowl, and the noise wasn't excactly great for my hangover.

The staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly!
The hotel was undergoing construction and the pool area and other amenities that we expected were unavailable. I had 4 disappointed little boys who wanted to swim in a pool on their vacation.

The hotel was going through a renovation and our room was completely remodeled. It was like new.
The entire renovation process was not complete yet.

When the renovation is complete, this hotel will seem like new. From what they have finished so far, it looks like they aren't cutting any corners with the remodel.

Wasn't happy with it for the price at all.
Very overpriced for the quality!

The hotel was partially under constructions and the Priceline price we received was $30 more than what we could have gotten the room for on our own!
