Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 17, 2013

They charge a lot for things like internet, cable and parking. Not included in the price of the room.

Great value!! There's no kitchen in most rooms, but you can request a microwave to be available in your room.

Even if you get a great deal there, you'll probably get better value in one of the surrounding hotels even if you pay a bit more. If you don't care about money at all, you can get decent room there and the amenities are better than in other hotels, so it's a good bet in that case. The slopes are right outside. If you don't like the creepy feeling of other people looking dumbfounded by the expectation of exorbitant prices and "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" attitude, and/or don't like the pole-up-your-..spine atmosphere, you'll serve yourself better if you stay away. Overall, I'd say I like other places better, but to each their own. ...

It's a great old hotel perfectly located for skiing in winter and hiking and golf in the summer. Some rooms we stayed in show their age but there are renovated "gold rooms" with access to a gold lounge at a premium. Free amenities include pool hot tubs sauna and a gym. It is pricey but with Priceline deals it is hard to beat.
