Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairmont Dallas
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 1, 2013

Love all the art in the hotel. Also, the pool area and gardens are great! I was not thrilled with this hotel when I stayed before but this was my first time in the south tower and I loved it. Large, clean and quiet room! Great location, is close to everything. The housekeeping staff is great, everything is clean on all my visits. Also, the valet parking staff is great. The reception staff/front desk is never friendly or helpful. Sad, because that is the only downside ( that and the lack of free wireless access) to this hotel. A simple smile to greet guests would be nice! ...

This hotel gives back to the community, supports and displays local art and artist. They grow their own herbs and spices and have their own honey bees. All this wrapped up in a luxurious hotel with great views and a roof top pool. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The lady at the front desk even told me she wanted to "MAKE ME HAPPY". They have a resident artist who lives and works in the hotel for about a month and then does a showing in their gallery. You can see them work. It is so close to everything. We were coming from a game at the American Airlines and it took us about 5 minutes to get to the hotel. Would definitely go back and have already recommended to friends. ...

We stayed at the Fairmont on our recent trip to Dallas. We were there for a hockey game at the American Airlines Center. Location was great. We walked everywhere - to the game, the Arts District, the Sixth Floor Museum. The staff was helpful when we asked about restaurants. We chose not to use the valet parking. There are several lots close to the hotel. However, if you park across the street at the YMCA parking garage, please note their hours of operation. The pull the gate down and don't open until 1:00 pm on Sunday. The hotel was really nice - one of the best rooms that I've ever stayed in. It was quiet, clean and the bedding was very comfortable. It would have been nice if there was a vending machine near the ice station and a continental breakfast. However, they do have a mini bar in your room (expensive), Starbucks and a nice restaurant on location. I was very happy with my experience at the Fairmont and highly recommend staying there. ...

The beds were pretty comfortable and the staff was very helpful at this hotel. The location is ideal if you want to visit art museums or explore downtown. I thought the rooms were a little dated but they were still nice enough. I wish this hotel had a better parking situation other than the $25 overnight parking/ valet thing they have going on. There were not a lot of restaurants nearby so be prepared to either eat at the hotel or drive. Nothing in walking distance but the hotel does have a full blown Starbucks for guests to enjoy. The hotel was nice enough but a little too stuffy for my taste. I would rather stay somewhere either more hip or family activity oriented (for example, an indoor pool). ...
