Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

good for catching a cab
They did not have the Fox News Channel, the TV was small and there was no comfortable place to sit to watch TV. The in room dinning wasn't that great.

Quality of suite
Liked everything!

The location is excellent - convenient to shopping, restaurants, transportation, and points of interest. The staff is courteous and helpful. This was my 2nd stay, and both times the suites were well furnished, spacious and immaculate. I especially like the intimate feel and "Irishness" of the place!

Good location on Lexington
No air conditioning and when I called about the room being hot I was told I could have a fan or open the windows. I did both and it was ok but not what I thought a 4 star hotel would be like.

Seemed to me to be a little outdated in decor. Check in desk was literally a person sitting at a desk with a computer. Halls were very hot and room was hot too. Bathroom updated and perfectly fine and bed was comfortable, but as I mentioned it seemed like more of a 3 or 3.5 star than a four.

The price and room size
Room needed updating. Furniture old, stained.

For the price, the hotel met our needs. No frills, pretty much just a nice place to sleep for the night. The hotel lobby is very small and somewhat unorganized, but very clean and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant is a little pricey - a breakfast for 3 (4 pancakes, one omlet, side of fruit, toast, coffee and 2 small orange juices costs us $84). But all in all, I believe we would stay there again for sleeping only, not eating. Nice experience, New York City is amazing and this hotel is within walking distance to everything! ...read more

They were a professional friendly staff, it was also made nicer by an upgrade in the room to a suite.

Our room was very spacious for a NYC hotel but that was in the suite. They have a decent "pub" style bar and restaurant on premises. Great mid/up town location for shopping/sightseeing.

Great location, friendly staff.
Promised a cot for the room. Did not deliver one. When requested they were out of them.

The hotel was very convenient to the subway and to Radio City. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nicely appointed. However, we had requested a cot for our room (2 adults, 3 kids in a 1 bedroom suite). When it wasn't delivered to our room we called the front desk and were told they had run out of cots.

nice place for your money, excellent location
not much, personel is correct for this kind of hotel

Hotel is correct for its rating, don't expect incredible service or extra luxury. It is clean, well heated, all conveniences, personnel will answer you, if you ask. It's very recommendable for first visit in NY.

Room service was faster than most hotels.
Rooms are small.

Hotel did not have my reservation but thanks to the day manager, he expedited the process. It was a slight inconvenience.
