Hotel Guest Reviews of the Flamingo Las Vegas

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The clerk at the hotel was rude. Our safe didnt work. They couldnt fix it so they moved us from the 22nd floor to the 10th.Half of the day was gone and no compensation at all. I was mad because we missed the pool due to that!! Really rude!!!

They really screwed us there that time.

The free upgrade to a mini suite was nice. Valet parking was pretty fast.
The check in line was so long in the late evening. There were only two staff members checking people in. I had to wait almost an hour to get into my room and I was traveling with my six year old son, there are no chairs nearby for him to wait on. Stressful!

Prepare for a long check in line. Valet park unless you want to navigate a confusing a overly crowded parking garage.

Proximity to my place of meeting.
Previously when I booked through Orbitz a few times, I was given a room above the 20th floor with a view of the Strip. This time I was allocated a room on the 4th floor with a view of the air conditioning ducts!

Fairly good value for a hotel on the Strip. Reasonable restaurants and polite staff. Kept well clean.

Good location for walking downtown.
The walls were so thin we could hear our neighbors coming in and out of their room all night and even their discussions about winning and losing, so sleeping was pretty much out of the question.

Never will we stay at the flamingos again There was also an extra resort fee when we checked out of 20 dollars The front desk staff were rude,, Tried so hard to get US to upgrade but we weren't sure it would have been a better room because they wouldn't show US either room. Paper thin walls and neighbors that didn't sleep. Sue glad we only booked for one night but never again. ...read more

The location was great and the pool area was excellent. The show lounge was OK and the casino and shops were good.
The room was not as was depicted in the ad. We had bugs in the bathroom the first night there. They gave us a credit for a meal in the buffet which was OK.

The food and drinks were extremely expensive but that seems to be the norm for Vegas now. The hotel staff were helpful and attentive. Security was excellent. We left some item sat the pool and they found them and returned them promptly.

Very clean, large rooms, friendly & knowledgable staff.
Irksome having to pay for wi-fi.

Very clean, large rooms, comfortable bed, fairly quiet within the room, i.e. not much noise from adjoining rooms, friendly & knowledgable staff. The hotel is in a decent location on the strip if you plan on staying in Vegas more than just a stop over for the night, near Ceasar's Palace. There is a lot of construction going on in the immediate area of the Flamingo. The airport shuttle does not drop you off right at the hotel, it is a bit of a walk. ...read more

The location was perfect, being in the middle of the strip. Also the pool was pretty good, but really noisy and the chairs were really old, dirty and lots of them were broken.
The hotel was soooooo smoky. And to clever it up they used this strong smelling deodorizer which just made my eyes and throat burn. The towels in our room stunk like smoke and we couldn't turn the air on because my throat would close up!

Not worth theory you save unless you are a smoker. The buffet was overpriced and awful food. The rooms were ok but there are much better hotels for the same price near by.
