Hotel Guest Reviews of the Four Points By Sheraton Brussels

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Staff were helpful
Nope

Good hotel and good location for walking. The store at the corner is great with a variety of lunch items, cheese, chicken, salads in fact everything to take along for a picnic in the park.

This hotel had very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were very nice. The hotel is close to everything including a tram stop. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and Brussels!
The hallways were a little outdated however but the rooms make up for it.

Staff was helpful. Room was clean, if a bit dated.
They missed my wake up call and I nearly missed my flight. WiFi is free in the lobby but is exorbitantly expensive to have in your room. If you have a car the parking situation is a bit of a nightmare

I would not stay here again. They missed my wake up call. They nickle and dime you for every possible service.

The bed was excelent - very comfortable. Room was very spacius with good bathroom. Nice big flat screen tv.
The room was a bit hot and the air conditioning didn't work. There is no free internet wifi in the room.

We loved the hotel. Courteous staff and good restaurant. Great room and bathroom. Just needed a better internet system in the rooms.

Without doubt the best thing about this hotel was the staff: friendly, sincere and helpful.

As other reviewers have noted, this hotel has dated appointments in large rooms (orange rugs, leatherette Lazy Boy chairs). My guess is that in its time the furnishings were probably considered luxurious, but they are showing their age. There was a problem with the heating in my room when I arrived. But the best thing about the hotel is the staff who are excellent: when I called down about the heating issue a maintenance person showed up within five minutes and fixed the problem; there was a follow-up call about an hour later to make sure everything was okay. The location of the hotel is fine for Brussels: it is just off a main street that becomes swankier as you move further towards the old part of Brussels. There is an excellent cafe just down and across the street. The area was definitely quiet at night, and it is possible to walk to the old part of town though that would probably take 30-40 minutes. The upscale shopping area that other reviewers have mentioned with your Tiffany's, Chanel is about 10 minutes away walking. The public transportation links, however, are good. Two trams connect the Central and Midi railway stations. The tram to Midi (#81) picks up just a couple minutes from the hotel and runs directly to the station. However, the tram to Central does not connect directly to that train station, you have to walk about 4-5 minutes from where the tram lets off near the park and the royal palace (this walk may include stairs or a steep hill). This tram also runs near the old town and you can get off near the upscale Sablon area and walk down into the touristy area. ...read more
