Hotel Guest Reviews of the Gainesville Hotel And Conference Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 27, 2012

I think that the hotel had just been purchased and it still needs a lot of work to get up to a 2+ hotel. The staff didn't know their jobs or ever how to pick up my phone messages from my room. I think the owners were a little hasty to reopen before everyone were completely educated on their jobs.

handicap room wasn't available on ground level and no small refrigerator.
All in all it is a nice place to stay but when we have to go back to Gainsville, I will have to choose somewhere that has a little more options that we need for our health issues.

Use only for sleep, and don't stay longer than one night! We stopped here on a road trip to sleep, and even I considered sleeping in the car instead! Old hotel that needs maintenance. Free breakfast included coffee, chewy bagels, toast, cereal and juice. The epitome of "you get what you pay for," and maybe even less in this case. Not anywhere I'd ever stay again.

The staff was very friendly, even called me by name when I checked in. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed and so was the dining area so I'm unsure if they will offer breakfast or not.
