Hotel Guest Reviews of the Galeria Plaza Mexico City
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

Overall the hotel is a pretty good value. It is centrally located and accessible. The accomodations are nice and clean. The staff was friendly, and the area of town isn't as intimidating as other areas of Mexico City.

Most staff are helpful and polite, but not all. Especially later at night and away from the front desk. Watch out for expensive additions to your bill like using room coffee, local phone calls or wifi in your room. Also, wake up calls re not %100 dependable.

Don't use the cabs outside the hotel unless you want to spend double what the Sitio cabs charge, which are perfectly safe and reasonable. Do walk to the Museo de Antropolgia through Chapultapec parque, it's beautiful. Do go to Plaza Angel, it is an incredible antique market. Not open on Sunday, but Saturdays are great because additional vendors are there, and the shops have wonderful antique items. ...

Breakfast is on the pricey side but we were able to find several good choices in the near vicinity. I had to ask for extra hand towels once but otherwise we were well supplied.

The hotel was big and clean. It had a nice lounge and breakfast the next morning was good. However, check-in took a long time since there was only one person working behind the desk.
