Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Perry South Beach
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 25, 2013

Always have enjoyed staying at this hotel under its current name as well as when it previously was called the Gansevoort. However, ongoing renovation work is happening all over the hotel exterior including a jackhammer being used directly outside my window starting at 8AM. Unbearable noise!! This is despite being told by hotel reception that they booked me in a room that was away from the construction zone. ...

The hotel is undergoing renovations, so it is really noisy during the week. We stayed Fri-Mon so there wasn't much noise and the hotel staff is super nice!

I would not recommend this hotel mainly because I found a cockroach in my room. this is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. also its under renovation so i couldn't access the main attraction - its also a 20 minute walk to ocean drive.

Even though, I planned to not be in the room during the time, after a late night on the town, and trying to get at least 3 hours sleep, the jackhammering at 8am can be a turn-off. If they could compromise and start 8:30/9am that would've sufficed. I loved the security! Guests had to be escorted into the elevators and phoned upon their arrival. I look forward to staying here again, however I will return when the construction is complete. ...

This hotel is under construction and is not desirable to stay at during the week as construction begins at 8:00 am. We found blood and hair on two towels in our first room. We switched rooms and the telephone in our new room did not work properly.
