Hotel Guest Reviews of the Glorietta Bay Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Staff was great - very friendly!! Location right across from the Hotel Del Coronado and the beach could not have been better. The property, an old mansion, was beautiful. Extra effort put in to continental passing out bunnies for Easter.
No - we loved everything!!

Great location with more affordable price for Coronado Island. We were right across from the Hotel Del Coronado and could be on that property for all the festivities as quickly as if we were staying there. I think we could even access things we needed from our car more quickly and the parking was free. They had a nice complimentary continental breakfast including some hot items like oatmeal. Lots of coffee and different kids of juices, pastries and cereals and hard boiled eggs. Assorted yogurts, etc. They passed out small stuffed bunnies as it was Easter - so, I am not sure if there were extra items added to the continental because it was Easter Sunday, but I don't think so. We would absolutely stay there again!!! ...read more

It's location directly across the street (Orange Ave., the main drag) from the Hotel del Coronado.
I wasn't keen about having to stay in the mansion part of the hotel. Only because it has stairs and no elevator, other than the one to the private penthouse. They'll help you with your baggage, but I did it myself. Still a hassle taking wheeled garmet b

Excellent location, friendly staff, nice continental breakfast in the mornings (on weekends, anyway).

Excellent, friendly staff always looking to acccomodate the guests.
The paint job outside needs to be done to preserve the original look of the mansion. Thick layers of paint obscure the details.

A very interesting hotel with lots of history. It's amazing to know that the Spreckles family actually lived where we were staying.

Great location for us.
Light/fan fixture in bathroom appeared to have some wiring/electrical issues.
