Hotel Guest Reviews of the Good Nite Inn Salinas

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. The only thing i liked was the price.
The bathroom was full of black mold that concerned me, because of my small children. I also took pictures of all the black mold.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone because of the dangerous black mold all over the restrooms and it even was noticeable that they treyed to cover it up with paint.

It was cheap.
Lights didn't work well, and riff raff around parking lot.

It was OK for the price, carpets are extremely dirty.

Price was great. right next to freeway. Nice staff.

Great place to stay at an affordable price. Plenty of restaurants near by.

The bathroom tub had layers of soap scum built up in the corners. Not very pleasant.

I needed a very inexpensive place to sleep, so I wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal, but I did expect it to be clean. Unfortunately, the maid staff doesn't appear to know how to clean a bathroom. The desk staff were wonderful, but I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The room was dirty and smelled bad.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was dirty and smelled bad. Continental breakfast meant muffins and coffee/juice. Also, my husband got scolded for going down the outdoor stairs too quickly.

Staff was very friendly.

Broken and unsafe luggage cart. Very poor food choices. Dirty elevators. Poor TV reception. Torn sheets on my bed. The staff was about the only positive thing. I will not stay at this location in the future. Thank you for letting me vent, it has bothered me since I returned home.

Nothing
Bathroom, parking, noise, staff, television, smell and
security.

This is on my list for the top 10 worst places I have ever stayed in 40 years of business travel. The bathroom had mildew on the walls and ceiling. The room had an odor that was not cleaning product smell. The television had a very poor picture.

It was cheap.

This hotel is exactly what you expect when you pay less than any other hotel in the area. It was clean, low quality bedding with adequate TV -it is noisy in the morning. Only choose this hotel when you plan a quick stopover on the way else where - it is not a destination resort, do not expect that for the price you pay here.

Although it's close to the freeway, you don't hear the noise.
Breakfast was a joke -- muffins, coffee, tea and OJ. That's it?

It was clean and safe, felt good about having my kids there.
Limited continental breakfast.

I liked the hotel it was well-maintained and clean. A great choice with kids for a traveler on a budget. I would stay there again.
