Gower House Hotel

You felt like you were staying in a true london flat. The bath was one floor up which i did not expect, but made for the whole experience. I would definately stay there again. The staff was outstanding!

Great location, but rooms are very basic, at student or hostel level. Good place if money is paramount, and you only need to crash in central London, and won't be spending much time in your room.

This hotel could use an update (construction works are in progress). Eg, bathrooms and toilets on the floor (shared with other rooms) are outdated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is suitable for a short stay in London, especially for low budget use.

For the money, this place met my expectations. It was in a great location. My only issue with the place was that there was so much noise from the traffic at night. There was absolutely no sound barrier between our room and the road right out front. For 3 nights, I dealt with it, but more than that, I couldn't. But as I said, for the price, it worked.

The Gower House is an ideal hotel when visiting London. It's conveniently located close to the tube for easy access to anywhere in the city. The front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us book sightseeing trips, helped with directions, printed maps and itineraries for our personal needs, and recommended restaurants.
