Hotel Guest Reviews of the Gramercy Park Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers

Bathroom was strange. Sink in the hallway outside of a water closet.

It was in a nice quiet neighborhood near the subway.
The hotel closed for renovation the day I checked out.
The hotel was run down and unkept. I stayed in the hotel the very last days it was open. While I was eating breakfast on the day I checked out, the demolition crew arrived and started to haul out furniture to the dumpsters. They had already removed the lobby furniture and the ATM.

The bed was comfortable
There was no shampoo in the room
OK for the price. The elevator is a little slow.

Location and front desk staff
Major construction/renovation going on which made it less pleasant.
Beautiful old property with spacious rooms, but it needs some inspection. Elevators bounce up and down and struggle to climb when more than 4 people are aboard ( the limit I believe is 10 people aboard, but I would never ride it in that case).

Access to Gramercy Park is an extra bonus of staying at the GP Hotel. Quiet and historic neighborhood.
Needs updates, but the hotel is planning to undergo rennovation.
