Hotel Guest Reviews of the Grand Beach Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It's proximity to the ocean.
Dated decor, furniture that was falling apart, cool draft coming into the room from the space around the A/C unit-as it was not sealed properly, blow dryer that seemed about to blow up in my hand. Oh, and our phone rang at 10 pm and no one was there?!

Other than the price of the room and the promixity to the beach/ocean....i would not have any reason to recommend this motel to anyone.

The rug was not vacuumed and it was stained; the shower and sink were dirty. There were cigarette burns on the night stand on the bureau and on the blanket. The room was suppose to be non-smoking

The rug was not vacuumed and it was stained; the shower and sink were dirty. There were cigarette burns on the night stand on the bureau and on the blanket. The room was suppose to be non-smoking. I did not stay at the grand beach inn, because of the above issues. I chose to drive 3 hours to home!!! Not recommended for anyone who likes a clean room to sleep in!!!

The room is big.
Far from shopping area, special after summer is over, no transportation, not easy to travel by local bus. The cafe was to expensive for breakfast.

Very close to the beach and a reasonable price.
Not enough towels.

Great location, but needs updating and needs upkeep on vending machines.

Location.
Room was smelly, mold on shower curtains, lots of spiders in the room, thin walls.

Except the location, there was nothing positive with this room. There was mold on the shower curtain, the room was smelly, there were no towels in the room (staff was friendly enough to bring some to our room).

It was walking distance to the beach and it did have a balcony.
$200.00 for a old rather unkepted room, coffee provided for only the first day and the lock did not always work

I will not pay 200 dollars for this room. It is walking distance to the beach.

Location.
Shabby best describes it. Worn linens, carpets, and bedspreads. Dirty, unkempt, and poor quality overall.

The location is great - far enough from the center of town to be quiet yet close enough. Great beach access by using the public access. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were sub par. The carpeting (both in the room and on the balcony) was water-logged and smelly. The sheets were literally gray...The bed spread was threadbare. The chairs were soiled. If it weren't for the fact that we were traveling with a child and it was one of the last rooms available in town, we would not have stayed there. ...read more

convenient to beach
It looks fine on the outside but it needs updating and cleaning in the general areas such as hallways, windows.
