Hotel Guest Reviews of the Grand Hotel De La Minerve Roma
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 21, 2013

Think of this hotel as a mini Waldorf. Classic. Beautiful. Great roof terrace to hang out and read a book! Rooms are huge with big windows overlooking beautiful Piazza and Pantheon just beyond. They added a roll-away for teenage daughter at no extra cost.

The hotel overall was great. The location was AMAZING! You can easily walk to the best sights in Rome from this hotel's location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed was great and very comfortable, despite the fact there was a thick duvet on the bed for summer. There was also free Wi-Fi in the lobby. The worst part was the shower. It probably would have worked fine with a new shower head (as the water pressure was fine), but the head was old and cracked (easy fix in other words). They also charged me city taxes upon departure, which no other hotel has EVER charged me when going through Priceline. I need to check to see if that was correct. Lastly, it's definitely not 5-star, as advertised, but it's still worth staying there for the location alone. ...
